What To Sell At My Garage Sale

Ok so you have a house full of STUFF but don't know what might sell or what won't. Well, most almost everything has some sort of value to it. What you think is not valuable may be valuable to someone else. Below is a list of some things you would think WONT sell at a garage sale. This stuff might have no value to you at all but it may be of use to someone else even if it is only a few cents.

  • Butter or margarine containers with lids
  • Worn and torn jeans
  • Old canning jars with their lids
  • Leftover tiles from your flooring
  • Old t-shirts and blouses
  • Coffee cans with lids

You may think that putting the above items for sale is embarassing but it can be money in your pockets. You just have to remember that everything is worth something to someone. Like the saying goes "One person's junk is another person's treasure".

What you can put up for sale all depends on what junk you want to get rid of that is taking up space at your house. Go around and examine the stuff you don't use. With that, think if you will ever use them. If not I would suggest trying to get rid of it, it will definitely help cleanup any clutter that may be around your house. Here are some other ideas of things to sell.

  • Old childrens toys
  • Books & magazines
  • Used clothing
  • Dishes
  • Used appliances and electronics
  • Furniture
  • Wall pictures and decorations

The next thing you will want to consider is things you should NOT sell. There isn't too much you should not sell but there are a couple. Below is a list of things you will want to avoid putting up for sale.

  • Food
  • Prescription drugs
